HORSESHOE LAKE

​

The Horseshoe Lake has been specifically designed for pleasure anglers.  8 large, purpose designed swims are located on this lake, with some being arranged as ‘doubles’ to allow  the opportunity to fish near friends. The lake is stocked with a good number of carp some of which grow to specimen proportions.  The bottom of the lake has been dug with the angler in mind with many humps, bumps and plateaus to find.  The Horseshoe Lake can be night fished, with under 16's needing to be accompanied by a paying adult.

FLE MATCH LAKES

​

FLE has two purpose designed match  lakes which are 100 metres long and 14 metres wide.  The Match Lakes can be fished by day ticket anglers if they are not booked. The lakes boast 20 fishing platforms and has a high stock of mainly carp up to 13lb.  Other species include Tench, Bream, Perch, Ide, Roach, Rudd and Crucians.  If you are looking for some rod bending action then head down to the FLE Match Lakes.  Our friendly, qualified staff more than happy to pass on knowledge and remember, we also offer Open Matches on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month.

The Match Lakes can be hired by groups or clubs exclusively at a price of £130.

FLE TOP LAKE

​

This peaceful, tranquil pool is the perfect place to escape to and relax.  The lake is only small but holds Ghost Carp to 20lb and is also home to a large stock of Mirror and Common Carp!  If you like catching Carp of all shapes and sizes then this is the place for you! 

​

You can night fish the Top Lake with under 16's needing to be accompanied by a paying adult.

KINGFISHER POND

 

Our Kingfisher Pond has been designed to cater for younger anglers, those with limited mobility or simply people who enjoy catching lots of fish.  Located close to the excellent FLE facilities and car park, the Kingfisher pond is FREE OF CHARGE for under 16's.  Its the perfect place for people wanting to bring their young children fishing for the first time, or those that just want to pop in for a few hours.  We can supply seat boxes, nets, unhooking mats and even whip poles completely free of charge if needed, so all you need to do is buy some bait and a pole rig from the on-site shop and off you go fishing!  There is a £10 refundable damage deposit required for all equipment loaned out.
